FerroDyn® provides iron bisglycinate, folate as ‘body-ready’ form 5-methyl tetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF) and vitamin B6, to support the formation of red blood cells, energy levels and the reduction of fatigue. Each capsule provides 28mg of elemental iron, from a highly-absorbable bisglycinate form that is gentle on the GI tract.

Iron, folate and vitamin B6 are all essential for the formation of red blood cells, that are specialised cells that transport oxygen around the body. Iron is necessary for the formation of haemoglobin. Haemoglobin is the iron-containing oxygen transport metalloprotein that is found within the red blood cells.
