1. Cancellation Before Sample Submission
Customers may cancel their blood test service by providing written notice via email to customerservices@gcbiosciences.co.uk. If a cancellation request is received before the test sample has been submitted, a refund will be issued minus a 25% administrative and booking fee to cover processing costs. Refunds will be processed within 28 days.
2. No Refund After Sample Submission
Once test samples have been submitted, no refunds will be issued, as the service has commenced and cannot be undone. The biological nature of our services means that processing begins immediately upon sample receipt, making cancellation impossible at this stage.
3. Service Issues and Remedies
If a service is deemed faulty or incomplete due to errors on our part, customers may be entitled to a repeat performance or a price reduction in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If you believe there is an issue with the service provided, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your results at customerservices@gcbiosciences.co.uk for investigation and resolution.
4. Processing Refunds
All refunds will be processed using the original payment method. Refunds may take up to 28 days to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.
5. Appeals and Consumer Rights
Customers have the right to appeal this refund policy under English consumer law. If you wish to challenge a decision, you may contact Citizens Advice at www.citizensadvice.org.uk or the Competition and Markets Authority at www.gov.uk/cma. However, please note that once test samples have been submitted, the service has already commenced, and refunds may not be granted due to the irreversible nature of biological testing.
6. Acknowledgement of Policy
By using our services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this refund policy. This policy will be included in all welcome emails, and customers are encouraged to review it before proceeding with any service booking.
7. Amendments to This Policy
GC Biosciences Ltd reserves the right to update or modify this refund policy at any time to ensure compliance with current regulations and business needs. Customers will be notified of any significant changes.
